born Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I moved to Birmingham, Alabama at an early age where I began my artistic journey. I began my formal education at Atlanta College of Art, focusing on painting and sculpture. The Apprenticeship Program at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is where I began an in-depth study of ceramics. I have been working in ceramics for over thirty years and continue to enhance my practice with workshops and conferences.

My work is included in the permanent collections of Georgetown University, Kaiser Permanente, Fulton County Arts Council, St. Joseph's Hospital, Tennessee Valley Museum of Art.
